A collaboration between Mars Area Elementary School and Butler County Community College’s Early Childhood Education program later this week will challenge students to flee from a turkey farm.
Mars fourth graders will take part in the Thanksgiving-themed Escape Room Wednesday to improve English Language Arts skills.
BC3 Early Childhood Education students will lead the activity with one group at 9:30 a.m. followed by others at 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.
Students will be asked to complete puzzles and games while learning about concepts such as characterization, main idea, and theme.
