Students at local high schools are getting ready for prom tonight.
Mars Area School District will begin their prom with the annual Prom Walk from 5:30 to 6 p.m. at the High School Auditorium.
Then students will board buses to the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh Cranberry from 7 to 10:45 p.m. where students will enjoy a theme of “Masquerade” with dinner, dancing, and a photo booth.
Students are expected to return to the High School around 11 p.m.
Slippery Rock High School is also having their prom tonight. Their annual walk happens at the high school starting around 4 p.m.
The prom itself then takes place at Cheeseman’s Farm.
