Students in the Mars Area School District have announced the results of fundraising efforts to benefit a worthwhile cause.
The Mars Area High School Student Council collected over $2,200 to benefit the family of eighth grader Paige Lauten who was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in November.
This student-organized collection took place during the March 25th Spring Fling Dance as well as the sale of Paige Strong bracelets.
The Mars Student Council presented a check to the Lauten family at a Doughnut Breakfast event last week.
