Mars Area Elementary School students in kindergarten through 6th grade will observe Mental Health Awareness Month with theme days this week.
Monday has been designated “Music Monday” and kids are encouraged to wear a t-shirt featuring their favorite band or music genre.
Tuesday is “Tie-Dye Tuesday” with students able to wear tie-dye or colorful clothes.
Other themes include “Wellness Wednesday”, “Tranquil Thursday” and “Feel Good Friday”.
