One Butler County high school is receiving recognition for being a top school in the state.
According to U.S. News and World Report, Mars Area High School was ranked as the 18th best in Pennsylvania.
They also ranked sixth in the Pittsburgh Metro Area.
The rankings evaluated student scores on math, reading, and science, along with performances of under-served students.
