A local marching band is inviting the public to a special performance later this week.
The Mars Area High School Marching Band will host a Friends and Family Night on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Mars Athletic Complex.
Band members will perform their pregame routine as well as the halftime show titled “Queens” featuring music from Adele, Billie Eilish, and Chappel Roan.
The band also plans on performing the competition show titled “Let it Be” featuring songs from the 1970s American counterculture including the Beatles.
