The Mars Area School District is adding text messaging to their mass notification system.
The district says parents and guardians can sign up for the alerts that give them notice about school closings and delays, as well as any emergency.
In order to sign up, you can text “Yes” to 67587.
The district says they will also continue with their phone and e-mail alerts as well.
