As many school districts in the region face falling enrollment numbers, a new study in the Mars Area School District predicts an increase.
The district revealed the results of a demographics study that predict the student enrollment could reach 4,000 by 2030. The current enrollment is just over 3,600.
The study comes as the district plans for updates and renovations to their schools in order to accommodate the growing population.
