Some local students are asking for help from the community through an ongoing collection.
The Mars Area Elementary School is collecting a variety of items for upcoming STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) and art class projects.
Items needed include newspapers, cereal boxes, and pool noodles.
The materials can be dropped off by families at the school’s main office during school hours or by students in a bin outside the art room.
