The Mars Area School District is moving forward with meetings that will ask community members about how the district should look in the future.
As the student population grows in the district, the capacity of buildings has become a concern. The district is trying to evaluate the best way to expand.
They have created a committee that will consist of 40 different community members. That group is now scheduled to meet three different times over the next couple of months: October 3, November 8, and December 5.
All of the meetings are open to the public and they will also be given a chance to comment.
