A former Mars student had a chance to perform with a notable Broadway star at a show earlier this month.
Ellie Howell was a 2021 graduate at Mars and is now a student at Wake Forest University. She had an opportunity to sing with Tony Award winning actress Kristen Chenoweth at a speaker forum last Thursday.
Howell received recognition while a student at Mars after she was nominated for a Henry Mancini Award for her performance in the high school musical Mamma Mia!
The pair received a standing ovation for their performance of “For Good” from Wicked.
