Students in the Mars Area Centennial School have gotten the opportunity to learn about codding how to control robots.
The school recently purchased 20 Finch Robots through the Mars Planet Foundation Teaching Enrichment Grant and a PPG Grant. Through the Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics classes students are learning how to code the robots to complete tasks.
Through motors and sensors, the students will program the robots to such as drawing shapes.
STEAM teacher Chris Churilla says the robots will give the students the opportunity to improve their coding, programing, and mathematic skills.
