The Mars Area School Board has approved a new contract with the district’s educational support professionals.
The board voted unanimously to approve the collective bargaining agreement during a special meeting Tuesday afternoon.
The new contract begins July 1st and continues through June of 2025 and includes salary increases.
Mars employs around 80 total support staff employees. The union representing the district’s custodial, paraprofessional and secretarial staff previously accepted the terms.
