The Mars Area School District will continue paying for monitoring water, specifically testing for lead.
At their meeting Tuesday night, the board approved a scope of engineering services agreement with Gannett Fleming.
This agreement continues an annual practice in which the company tests, analyzes, and reports on the water from all five buildings. Results in recent years have revealed no issues of concern.
The agreement will cost the district just over $6,000 with the testing scheduled to take place later this month.
