WPIAL Playoffs:
–The Seneca Valley soccer programs will be highlighting a WPIAL championship doubleheader tonight at Highmark Stadium. The Seneca Valley girls will face North Allegheny in the Class 4A title game at 6:30pm. The Seneca Valley boys meet Fox Chapel in the 4A championship at 8pm.
–The Freeport girls will meet Burrell in the Class 2A WPIAL championship game Saturday at Highmark Stadium. That match begins at 10am.
The Karns City boys soccer team fell to Somerset 1-0 in overtime in a PIAA District 5-9 Class 2A Sub-Regional playoff match.
The Mars girls volleyball team punched their ticket to the PIAA tournament with a 3-1 win over Hampton last night in the WPIAL Class 3A Consolation Game.
