Money will be going to improving the main road to McConnells Mill State Park.
Slippery Rock Township officials approved a project that will see McConnells Mill Road tar and chipped this summer along with a drainage replacement project.
The project is also being funded through a $280,000 grant from the Lawrence County Conservation District.
The total project cost is estimated around $317,000.
