Those interested in learning more about native plants are invited to McConnells Mill State Park for a program this weekend.
On Saturday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. the public is invited to meet at the Kildoo Picnic Area for a presentation called “Morning Wild Teas”.
During the program, the Park Naturalist will teach visitors about edible plants and how to make them into drinkable teas. Those planning to attend can bring snacks they would like to enjoy with the tea samples.
Pre-registration is required by visiting the DCNR Calendar of Events website.
