Rory McIlroy shot a final round 66 to overtake Scottie Scheffler and win the Tour Championship and claimed $18 million by winning the FedEx Cup title. Scheffler shot a final round 73 after opening the tournament with a 10-stroke lead. He ended the tournament tied with Sungjae Im, one stroke behind McIlroy.
McIlroy won more than $28 million during the PGA Tour season.
