The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting that measles cases in Pennsylvania has surpassed 900.
The DOH reports on Monday that 39 new measles cases have been confirmed since Friday.
In total, 903 people have been infected, 176 people have been hospitalized, 39 counties have at least one reported case, four people have had a measles-associated death, and four vaccinated people have been infected, but that makes up less than one percent of cases.
Health officials advise everyone over the age six to be fully vaccinated with both doses to drastically reduce chances of hospitalization. More information can be found online through the state website’s Measles Dashboard.
