A medical helicopter was called to transport two people to a hospital after an early morning motorcycle crash in Mercer Township.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m., police were called to William Flynn Highway (Route 8) just south of Harrisville for a report of a motorcycle accident.
The driver of the motorcycle, 22-year-old Aaron Brown of Butler, was traveling south on Route 8 and then hit a deer.
After colliding with the deer Brown was launched from his vehicle along with his passenger 21-year-old Isabella Steele Haller of Chicora.
Neither were wearing a helmet and were seriously injured in the crash. Both required to be transported by Medical Helicopter to a hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.
