Tuesday night’s Mega Millions jackpot could come close to setting a record.
Without having a winner since April, the jackpot has soared to an estimated $1.55 billion, which would be the most-ever in Mega Millions history.
Lottery officials say that when the grand prize grows that much, it’s tough to predict the exact jackpot with pinpoint accuracy.
However, the total prize is expected to surpass the previous Mega Millions record of $1.53 billion set in 2018.
Tonight’s drawing is set for 11 p.m.
