The Michigan-based grocery store Meijer is confirming they are buying land in Cranberry Township.
The proposed grocery store will be located in a newly constructed shopping plaza, which will be called Henderson Crossing. It will be located along Route 228, near North Catholic High School.
Meijer is planning a 159,000 square foot building and a gas station.
This would be Meijer’s first store in Pennsylvania and joins a soon-to-be expanding grocery store selection in Cranberry, after Wegman’s announced plans to open a store near the UPMC Lemieux Complex.
