Middlesex Township has hired a Chief of Police for the first time in 20 years as officials say the township is growing.
Late last week the Township Board of Supervisors hired Sargent Justin Bouch of the Harrison Township Police Department in Allegheny County to be their Chief of Police.
Bouch had been in that role since 2013 and has been a police officer since 2006. He will oversee three full time officers and one part time officer.
This hire will allow for the supervisors and township staff members to better longer handle day to day responsibilities.
