Despite the rain last night, the first-ever Minglefest kicked off with a parade in Saxonburg.
The weekend-long celebration in Saxonburg combines the summertime Mingle on Main with Sprankle’s Oktoberfest.
Starting tonight at 4 p.m., Sprankle’s will host their fifth annual Bavarian celebration. Guests will have a chance to take in food, beer, and other aspects of Bavarian culture.
Meanwhile, downtown Saxonburg will have various activities scheduled for Minglefest. The event will fill Main Street all weekend long and also includes an art showcase, which continues the tradition of the Festival of the Arts.
Both events run through Sunday evening.
