Additional details have been released regarding a crash that happened early Thursday morning in Butler Township.
According to Butler Township Police, 18-year-old Caiden Weider of Butler was attempting to turn from Evans City Road onto Benbrook Road when she struck a vehicle driven 72-year-old Joyce Hoffman of Butler.
Authorities say that Hoffman’s attempted to avoid the crash, but was unable. Hoffman’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
Officials say that a passenger in Hoffman’s car was treated for minor injuries.
Weidner was warned for carless turning.
