There were 20 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Monday.
That comes after a weekend report of 78 new cases and one death—which now brings the county death toll to 406.
Local hospitalizations due to COVID declined last week, and stayed steady over the weekend. As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating eight patients for the coronavirus, with three COVID patients in the ICU. The hospital did report one death to the DOH last Friday.
Statewide hospitalizations are also trending downward, with just over 2,100 people receiving treatment. That’s down about 400 compared to last Monday.
