The state Department of Health is reporting three additional Butler County deaths as a result of COVID-19 infection on Monday.
Over the weekend, Butler County had 99 new cases and three additional deaths. That now brings the county’s death toll to 344 since the beginning of the pandemic.
Hospitalizations though declined at Butler Memorial Hospital. As of this morning, 22 patients were being treated for the coronavirus, that’s down nine since Friday. There were also five COVID-19 patients in the ICU.
The hospital reported two additional deaths to the Department of Health over the past two days.
