There were 41 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Monday.
It comes after a weekend of 91 new cases—which now puts Butler County over 15,000 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital is treating 15 patients for the coronavirus, with six COVID patients in the ICU. The hospital also reported one COVID death to the Department of Health on Saturday.
Statewide hospitalizations also continue to increase, with more than 1,900 patients currently being treated for COVID. That’s up more than 300 compared to last week.
The statewide death toll also surpassed 25,000 over the weekend.
