Students from Moniteau Jr./Sr. High School are being dismissed early today due to an electrical outage.
Multiple electricians are on site attempting to fix the problem but it is unknown when the issue will be resolved. As a result, all students will be dismissed after the lunch period ends at 12:30 p.m. today.
Varsity football players will remain at the school under the supervision of a coach. This issue has also affected the utilization of solar power.
This will not impact students at Dassa McKinney Elementary School who will continue with a regularly scheduled dismissal time.
