After a school board member resigned, the Moniteau School District is taking applications for a new member.
At a meeting earlier this week, Dr. Michael Baptise resigned from his position as school board member due to personal circumstances that would not allow him to fulfil his duties.
After accepting the resignation, the board directed administration to post for the vacant position which runs through December of 2027.
Interested residents of the Moniteau School District are asked to send a letter of interest, resume, and Statement of Financial Interest as approved by the PA Ethics Commission to Moniteau’s Office of the Superintendent.
Applicant information will be accepted through noon on Wednesday, August 5 with interviews held at a meeting to be determined.
