A local park is welcoming attendees to a fun and family-friendly event scheduled for later this week.
On Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m., the Park Naturalist at Moraine State Park will lead participants on a 15 minute walk from the Davis Hollow Marina Office on the North Shore to Davis Hollow Creek where attendees will search for salamanders and other critters.
Those planning to attend are advised to wear sturdy walking shoes but bring water shoes to slip on at the stream as well as bug spray.
