The public is invited to enjoy an outdoor activity at Moraine State Park later this week.
A Shannon Run Sunset Paddle will take place on Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the 528 Boat Launch Prospect Exit off Route 422.
Participants will be able to explore the area while looking for wetland plant and animal life. This activity is for ages 12 and older with life jackets required. Kayaks and gear are provided, but those planning to attend can bring their own as well as binoculars.
Pre-registration for this event is required by calling the park office.
