Those interested in learning more about native plants are invited to Moraine State Park this weekend for a hike along Lake Arthur.
The public is invited to meet with a park naturalist on Saturday for a Summer Wildflower Walk along the Butterfly Trail, at McDanels Launch Area Pavilion 7 on the North Shore.
This activity will begin at 10 a.m. and continue for about 90 minutes. During an easy stroll of about a mile, participants will get a closer look at how to ID native plants and learn more about traditional uses.
Participants are advised to dress for the weather and bring water.
