Local groups are marking America’s upcoming 250th anniversary with a special hike tomorrow.
The Liberty Tree Hike is planned for Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. on the Pleasant Valley Trail at Moraine’s South Shore Park Office.
This two-mile hike through woods and open spaces is considered easy but participants are advised to wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather as well as bring water and snacks.
