Those interested in learning more about native plants are invited to Moraine State Park later this week for a hike along Lake Arthur.
The public is invited to meet with park staff Friday for a Wildflower Walk along the Slippery Rock Natural Area, across from Slippery Rock Campground on West Park Road.
This activity will begin at 7 p.m. and continue until approximately 8:30 p.m. During the about one mile stroll, participants will learn about native plants and how to bring the beauty of nature to a backyard.
Participants are advised to dress for the weather.
