Adults- young and old- are welcome to enjoy a morning on the water at a local park later this week.
Moraine State Park is holding a “Shannon Run Paddle” on Tuesday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Mount Zion Church 528 exit off Route 422.
Park staff will lead a nature-based exploration of this area of Lake Arthur. This event is for ages 12 and older with those under 18 to be accompanied by an adult. Participants can bring their own kayaks or a limited number of kayaks are available. Life jackets are required.
Pre-registration through the DCNR Calendar of Events website is also required.
