More grants are coming to local fire departments and first responders.
State Representatives Aaron Bernstine and Marci Mustello announced over $333,000 in grants.
The funds are being distributed to fire departments and EMS agencies. It can be used for a variety of reasons, including purchasing equipment.
That brings the total of grants for Butler County fire departments to more than $500,000.
Rep. Bernstine 8th District in Butler County:
- Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company – $14,694.
- Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Company – $12,633.
- Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department – $13,251.
- Portersville Muddy Creek Volunteer EMS – $15,000.
- Portersville Muddy Creek Township Volunteer Fire Department – $13,251.
- Prospect Volunteer Fire Department – $14,075.
- Quality Emergency Medical Service – $15,000.
- West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department – $14,075.
Rep. Mustello 11th District in Butler County:
- Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company – $14,694.
- Butler Ambulance Service Company – $15,000.
- Butler City Fire Department – $15,930.
- Butler Township Volunteer Fire District – $50,446.
- Chicora Community Hose and Relief Association – $15,106.
- East Butler Volunteer Fire Department (EMS) – $15,000.
- East Butler Volunteer Fire Department – $12,426.
- Herman Volunteer Fire Company – $15,312.
- Karns City Regional Ambulance Service – $15,000.
- Oakland Township Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Company – $13,251.
- Sarver Volunteer Fire Company – $14,694.
- Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company – (EMS) $15,000.
- Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company – $15,106.
