Police have released more information on a crash from last week that saw a vehicle go over an embankment in Clay Township.
The accident happened last Tuesday just before noon when crews were called Route 8 North, just north of Playthings Etc., for a vehicle over an embankment.
According to State Police, the crash happened when a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Justin Sanderson of Butler was traveling north on Route 8. Then for unknown reasons veered into the southbound lane and off the road over an embankment.
Sanderson suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
He was cited for the crash.
