Police believe last Friday’s car explosion in Cranberry Township was a suicide.
Our news partners at WPXI are reporting that the man was a 53-year-old resident of Butler County.
The incident happened in the parking lot near the Red Robin restaurant just off of Route 228.
Witnesses nearby at the time it happened said the vehicle became engulfed in flames and made a loud explosive noise.
No one else was injured during the incident.
