Butler Twp. Police have provided more information about a crash late last week.
On Friday (August 18) 61-year-old Dennis Schlott of Carnegie was traveling in the Northbound Lane on Meridian Road in a Ram pickup truck. After allegedly running a red light, he crashed into 72-year-old Joyce Mock of Renfrew who was traveling in the eastbound lane of Whitestown Road.
Schlott’s Honda SUV rolled over and into a residential metal fence after the crash. Schlott was extricated from the vehicle by non-mechanical means.
Both drivers suffered injuries that required transportation to Butler Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
