State police are providing more information on last week’s school bus crash in Connoquenessing Township.
The accident happened Wednesday morning on Shannon Road. Police 67-year-old Dawn Cox-Henry of Butler was driving the school bus east when the bus went off the road and went into a grassy area.
The bus hit an embankment with the right-side wheel, before it hit a tree head-on.
The bus was significantly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
There were Connoquenessing Elementary students on the bus, but no one was seriously injured. An EMS was called to evaluate all of the students.
