More information has been released on a man connected to youth programs in Mars being charged by State Police for sexual assault.
51-year-old Nathan Mitchell, also know as Joshua Workmen, has been accused of sexually assaulting three boys under the age of 13 over a three-year period.
It’s alleged Mitchell, who has children around the victim’s age, would invite the alleged victims to his home in Mars for a sleepover when Mitchell’s children were not home. One of the victims accuse Mitchell of providing them with melatonin during sleepovers.
Charging documents also accuse Mitchell of messaging the children with code words related to the assaults. One victim also expressed concern of a camera in the bathroom.
The investigation at this point is considered ongoing.
Mitchell is facing 16 charges related to child sex abuse including several felonies and is being held in the Butler County Prison on $500,000 bond as he awaits a preliminary hearing.
