There’s more snow on the way Friday.
The National Weather Service is predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow that will hit starting around noon tomorrow.
Michael Kennedy is a Meteorologist with the National Weather Service and he says that transportation officials working with the NWS are most concerned about the rate of snow coming down.
“The rate of the snowfall is what is concerning, more so than the actual snowfall amount,” Kennedy said. “That is what determines whether crews can keep up with it. That tends to be the biggest problem.”
There is also potential for snow squalls to move in to the area Friday night that could add up to an extra inch of snow, but those are highly unpredictable.
