It appears that the area is in store for more wet weather on Thursday.
The National Weather Service has extended a flash flood watch through the evening, predicting the area could see anywhere from a quarter to a half inch of new precipitation.
The showers and thunderstorms are expected to roll in this afternoon and early evening. Friday appears to be a bit of a reprieve for the area, as partly sunny conditions and a high of 75 degrees are expected.
