One man died after a collision between a school bus and a motorcycle in Jefferson Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 4 p.m. for the crash at the intersection of Dinnerbell and Victory Roads.
Crews from Saxonburg were among those responding to find a motorcycle under a full-size bus from the Knoch School District.
The victim’s identity has not been revealed, but police confirmed a 79-year-old man died in the crash.
A portion of Dinnerbell needed to be closed between Frazier and West Jefferson Roads.
A message from the Knoch School District said the driver and 21 elementary students were not injured.
A replacement bus allowed for school principals to accompany the students home. School counselors are present today at the elementary schools to help any student dealing with the aftermath.
