The final two games of the “First Four” entry games of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament are complete: Mount St. Marys defeated American 83-72 last night in their battle for a #16 entry seed in the Midwest Region. They will get #1-seed Duke Friday. Xavier topped Texas 86-80 in the battle for a #11 seed in the East Region. The Muskateers are led by former Pitt standout Sean Miller as their head coach. They will meet Illinois Friday night.
