A large donation from a local company will allow Butler County Community College to offer educational programs for students in elementary school as well as high school.
MSA Safety of Cranberry Township recently made a $50,000 gift through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program to the BC3 Education Foundation.
Some of that money will be used for BC3’s Stock Market Game which teaches financial literacy to over 1,500 students as young as fourth grade in eight different counties.
The rest of the donation will be put towards BC3’s College within the High School Program that offers college-level courses in a variety subjects as well as study, note taking, and time-management skills. This program recently expanded to include Slippery Rock Area High School.
