A local municipality has been awarded a state grant to improve local traffic conditions.
Muddy Creek Township will receive nearly $470,000 through the PennDOT Multimodal Transportation Fund to repair and resurface Hufnagel Road.
A total of 50 projects in 27 counties across the state received a combined $54 million as part of this program.
The next round of applications opens next month with selections based on safety benefits, regional economic conditions, job creation, energy efficiency, and technical and financial feasibility.
