High school musical season marches on this weekend with a couple more local schools nearly ready to raise their curtains.
Mars students are preparing “Wizard of Oz” with 7:30 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday, as well as a 1:30 p.m. matinee show Saturday in the auditorium. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased online with more information on the Mars website.
Also Friday, Moniteau is presenting “Mary Poppins” beginning Friday at 7 p.m. and continuing Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. Over 140 Moniteau students in 4th through 12th grade will bring the classic story to life. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance by email or at the North Trails Public Library. Additionally, the public is invited to a meet and greet with games on Saturday at noon at a cost of $5 per person.
