Mental Health Awareness is the focus of an event and fundraiser this weekend.
The Butler Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness is holding the 5th annual Scramble for Mental Health at the Slippery Rock Golf Club and Event Center on Saturday with registration at noon.
For $500 a four-person team can enjoy greens fees and a cart as well as hotdogs at the turn, dinner, basket raffles, a 50/50, and a silent auction with proceeds going to help reduce the stigma against mental illness.
More information is available by visiting the website of the Butler County chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
